The Etherean + Animated Short
The culmination of about a month's work in Medium, Coat, Zbrush, Blender, After Effects and even FL Studio for the score. Brief as it is.

Was originally intended as some cool NFT art, but I sacked it off and decided to make a universe inspired partly by the Alien story and the art of HR Giger.
The Ethereans are a race who have been repressed for many cycles. The Centricons control the power and have ruled over Etherea, forcing the inhabitants to get all their energy from a central source, which they are dependent on for everything. The prophecy said that a baby would reveal the path to freedom in its dreams and so secret Incubatoriums are set up to find the baby and reveal the path to freedom. The dreams will show the coming of three angels who are sent to vanquish the Centricons and bring independence to the people of Etherea.

Stromos the Lucid foretold of the child, and with it, an end to persecution of the Etherean Race.
The Incubatorium. The child may hold the prophecy and its dreams must be harvested.
When its dreaming stops, so too will the wait. The time is close.
The Incubatorium was concepted in Oculus Medium where I could freely sketch and play in VR.
Everything was then Detailed and polished (and about 35% of the original geometry rebuilt) in 3d Coat.
Finally it was brought into Blender for texturing and creating wires etc.
